Telangana DSC Educational Qualification

• School Assistant:
  • Must have a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in subjects such as Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Studies, English, Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Sanskrit, or Physical Education (or related subjects as specified in the Annexure to this G.O.) from a university recognized by UGC with a minimum of 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (45% for SC, ST, BC, or differently abled candidates).
  • Should have passed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Special Education in B.Ed. with Mathematics as a Methodology subject from an NCTE recognized college.
• Language Pandit:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Telugu; or a Post-Graduation degree in Telugu from a UGC recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, BC, or differently abled candidates).
  • Should have passed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Special Education in B.Ed course with Telugu as a Methodology subject; or completed Language Pandit Training in Telugu from an
  • •  institution recognized by NCTE.
  • Physical Education Teacher:
    • Must possess a certificate or graduate diploma in physical education or a diploma in physical education from an institution recognized by the NCTE.
    • Should hold an intermediate diploma (or its equivalent) recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT):
    • Must have completed the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education (D.Ed.) or a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
    • Should have passed Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognized by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 50% Marks (45% for SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates).

    • TS DSC TRT Age Limit

      • Minimum Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
      • Maximum Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 46 years of age.

      Category-wise Age Relaxation

      • Telangana State Government Employees: Up to 5 years of age relaxation.
      • Ex-Servicemen: Eligible for a relaxation of up to 3 years in age.
      • SC/ST/BCs & EWS: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/BCs & EWS categories are entitled to a relaxation of 1 year in age.
      • Physically Handicapped persons: Those with physical disabilities can avail a relaxation of up to 10 years in age.
