HDFC customers can also link their bank accounts with Aadhaar by visiting a nearby HDFC Bank ATM. No documentation is required for this process. It is a simple and quick process. Follow these steps to link Aadhaar with your account:

When you perform a transaction, a message pops-up on the screen “Link Aadhaar to your bank account”
Select the “Yes” option
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number
Re-enter it to confirm
You will get a confirmation message on successful linking
Alternatively, you can click on “Link Aadhaar with your bank account” under “Service Requests” option
Now enter your Aadhaar twice and confirm it

Central Bank of India

Central Bank of India account holders can link their bank accounts with Aadhaar through the bank’s app as well. They have to follow these simple steps to link their accounts quite easily:

Users have to login to their Cent mobile app using their user id and password.
Click on the “Request” option present at the lower end of the interface.
Now select the “Link Aadhaar card with your Account” option.
Enter your Aadhaar number twice and submit your request.
Your Aadhaar will be linked with your CBI account within two working days.
You will get a confirmation SMS on successful linking on your registered mobile number.

An account holder has to type a message AADLINK<12 digit Aadhaar number> and send it to 5676777.

For example, if your Aadhaar number is 987654321987 and your IDBI bank account number is 123456789123456, then you have to type AADLINK 987654321987 123456789123456 and send the SMS to 5676777.

Canara Bank
